Layout

All on one level:
Conveniently arranged for the most part on one level, the heart of the property is the lofty sitting room: the original beams add character and highlight the heritage of the building with underfloor heating and a wood burning stove ensuring it’s always toasty throughout the colder months. (There’s an unlimited log supply and, completing its eco credentials, the electricity comes from solar energy). A comfy sofa and armchairs, flat screen television with Freesat and DVD player complete the picture and, if you prefer to read, climb the stairs to the mezzanine area and curl up with a book on the comfy sofa (which also doubles as extra sleeping capacity if required) or simply keep an eye on the wildlife outside.
Below you, there is a superbly equipped kitchen with dining area alongside the sitting roo. This is a practical space with granite worktops throughout. There’s an electric oven with hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer – everything to make life away from home easy. The owners have thoughtfully provided everything you’ll need to cook up a storm, there’s even a Nespresso complete with pods and a milk frother.
A door separates the open plan living space from the bedrooms (and no ordinary door either, all the doors at Nellie's Barn are superb solid oak).
Firstly there’s a bright and airy double bedroom complete with drawers, double wardrobe and LCD television as well as chair and bedside tables/lamps. Adjacent to this room is a bathroom with over the bath shower, wash basin and wc.
There’s also a twin bedded room, each bed with a double duvet similarly equipped with drawers, fitted wardrobe and LCD television and an en-suite bathroom.
All the beds are dressed with quality linens, fluffy robes await in the wardrobes and the neutral tones throughout promote the ultimate in rest & relaxation. Attention to detail is exceptional with portable black-out blinds available.
All the daily activity of the farm takes place one and a half miles away so the only sounds you'll hear will be birdsong, deer barking and owls hooting.

Outside
A small patio area to the front of this stylish Cotswold barn has a table, four chairs and a gas barbecue. There is also a lawned area to the rear of the property.
A secure paddock complete with summer house is also available for guests to use and four-legged friends to wander. Little ones need to be accompanied as there is a pond too - superb for bird watching.
Coarse fishing is available at the farm lake: guests will need to bring their own rods.
Off street parking available.
