For lovers of open plan living The Dairy is the sublime holiday retreat. Once the farm’s milking parlour, the lofty ceiling height lends a sense of space and airiness further enhanced by a wall of floor to ceiling height glass running almost the entire length of the property. Wooden floors and beautiful muted tones create a contemporary feel, perfectly balanced by characterful beams.
Being all on ground floor level, The Dairy is perfectly suited to those with limited mobility.

Layout

Being all on ground floor level, The Dairy is perfectly suited to those with limited mobility.
At the far end the bedroom area is tastefully screened from the main living area and comprises a luxurious super king bed which can flex to 2 singles if required. A dressing table, chest of drawers and double wardrobe provide ample storage. With creature comforts in mind there’s also a hairdryer, clock/radio and mirror: there’s even an Apple lightning dock making it the perfect home from home and completing the boutique feel.
The adjacent living space includes 2 generous leather sofas and a large flatscreen TV with freeview and blu-ray dvd, perfect for indulgent sofa loafing for two but equally good for a group of 4 if booked together with its neighbour The Byre. This is further echoed by the dining table equipped with 4 chairs.
Being positioned alongside the dining space, the kitchen area is perfectly placed for sociable cooking and is fully equipped allowing the keenest of cooks to whip up a storm. On a practical level, there’s an oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle and toaster as well as all the utensils, crockery & cutlery you’re likely to need during your stay.
On the right as you enter The Dairy, you’ll find a large bathroom complete with bathtub as well as separate luxury shower with power jets, heated towel rail WC and sink. A huge vanity mirror and heated towel rail complete the picture.

Outside
The Dairy has its own private grassed area around 15metres away, screened on one side with a small wall and on 2 other sides by hedges. Guests also have access to a large mown area with fruit trees, a fire pit, table and chairs and a bbq ideal for summer picnics or evenings by the fire. This area is for the enjoyment of all 3 properties at Saintbury grounds.

Need to know
This property can be booked on its own to accommodate 2 guests or together with The Byre to accommodate 4, The Hayloft to accommodate 6 or with both The Byre & The Dairy to accommodate 8.
This is not a pet friendly property.
Wi-fi is available: guests will be advised details on arrival but please note that this property is in a rural area and speeds are currently restricted so not suitable for gaming or live streaming.
Oil fired central heating ensures toasty toes at all times.
Bedlinen, towels & robes provided.
Dedicated on site parking available. Secure bike storage available if required.
The Dairy enjoys shared use of a washing machine and tumble dryer with The Byre.
There is a garden pond within the grounds but this is sited well away from the holiday lets near the main farmhouse.

Surrounding local area

On the borders of Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Warwickshire, Saintbury Grounds is located in an area of rolling countryside in a prime location for exploring the whole of the Cotswolds. The Cotswold hotspots of Chipping Campden and Broadway with a fine choice of independent traders, pubs & restaurants are within easy striking distance with Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-water and Burford a little further afield. For avid walkers and keen cyclists there’s some fantastic walking & cycling country literally on your doorstep, no need to get the car out and for those simply looking to chill in peaceful surroundings, the 38 acres of private grounds are a haven for birds and wildlife as well as the resident ponies and a small herd of rare Soay sheep. Just under 2 miles away, The Fleece Inn is your local, a very traditional pub and unique in being the only NT owned pub in the country.
