Property details

Duckling Cottage is a delightfully renovated Cotswold stone cottage in the very pretty and peaceful village of Bledington. The mixture of beautiful stone and thatch country cottages date back to the 17th and 18th centuries. Situated in the Evenlode Valley and set on the attractive village green opposite the excellent village pub, The Kings Head, with its deserved reputation for fine dining.

Bledington has the benefit of a village shop and the mainline railway station to London Paddington is in the neighbouring village of Kingham, as well as the very popular pubs; The Wild Rabbit and The Plough.

Stow-on-the Wold with its specialist antique shops, excellent pubs and restaurants is just four miles away. The pretty market towns of Chipping Campden, Broadway and Moreton-in-Marsh are only a short drive away, as is the Daylesford Organic Farm Shop in Kingham.

A lovely holiday in a fantastic cottage. Children loved the swings, see-saw and ice cream hut opposite. Adam Henson's Farm Park and Cotswold Wildlife Park are great days out with the family.

Our 2nd stay here and just as lovely! A great week even the rain didn't spoil it. Full of family fun. A complete home from home.

Well equipped, lovely cottage. TV in bedrooms would be appreciated, most have such. Cosy, warm clean and modern. Needs shelves in bathrooms for towels. Thanks very much.
