A fabulous, beautifully renovated four bedroom family home nestled between the ancient Donnington Mill and a working brewery, with lake, mill stream and peacocks in the garden. This stunning property is hidden from the world, yet only five minutes away from popular Stow-on-the-Wold.

Just a mile away, you'll find the local pub, The Golden Ball, in the pretty village of Lower Swell. You are spoilt for choice in the area for excellent pubs which serve delicious local produce and you'll be in good company as many of these Cotswold Inns are also supplied by the Donnington Brewery.

Please note this property has a capacity of 8 (+2 sleeping on a sofa bed).

Sofa beds can be added during the booking process. There is an additional charge of £75 per person for a short break, £150 each per week.

The drawing room is the heart of this secret hideaway with three large sofas, window seats with views to the lake, flat screen television, DVD player, iDock & CD player.

Downstairs wc and basin.

Snug – separate snug sitting room with sofa bed* and a couple of additional sofas, plus 43” plasma TV & DVD player.

Leads to the reading room – quirky room ideal for peace and solace!

Steps up to dining kitchen. Enormous, fully fitted kitchen with double Everhot electric range cooker, microwave, dishwasher, larder fridge and second smaller fridge. There is a large table for 10 people. Decorative fireplace.

Steps down to the large utility room in the lower ground floor with a small chest freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and drying room with ample hanging and storage space.

The utility room which has a wc and Belfast sink can also be accessed directly from the garden and is a perfect for washing off muddy boots and children!

First Floor

Bedroom one has beautiful views to the garden. A large bedroom with super king sized zip & link bed or two 3 ft singles, small vanity table, small sofa, window seat, built in wardrobe and shelving. Original fireplace (non-working).

Bedroom four is a large attic bedroom full of character with zip and link beds which can be made up as a super king or two single beds, chest of drawers, hanging rail and storage cupboard. Feature fireplace (not in use). A camp bed can also be installed in this room (at an additional cost).

The en-suite has a bath, washbasin, heated towel rail and wc.

Outside

Outside you can enjoy the private gardens which include the old croquet lawn and river frontage. Outside seating area with tables and chairs.

Off street parking is available for at least 3-4 cars.

Additional bed spaces are charged at £75 per person for a short break, £150 per person for a week.

Please be aware there is a £500.00 security deposit at this property.

The Old Brewery is in a beautiful setting less than three miles from historic Stow-on-the-Wold. Being in the heart of the Donnington Brewery itself, the property comes with extensive grounds where you can soak up the serenity of the area.

The delightful market town of Stow-on-the-Wold is a great place to explore some wonderful antique shops and boutiques, art galleries, selection of quaint tearooms and the fantastic choice of country pubs and excellent restaurants on offer. The picturesque towns and villages of Chipping Campden, The Slaughters, Broadway and Burford are a short drive and well worth a visit.
