This attractive 1930's semi-detached property is thought to have once been used as a school room for the village. Conveniently located on the border of Warwickshire and the Cotswolds, it is the ideal base to discover Shakespeare Country.

Surrounding local area

Just 7 miles to the North East is Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare. No visit would be complete without taking in a spectacular performance at the RSC but other historical sites also include Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, William Shakespeare’s Birthplace and the childhood home of Shakespeare’s mother Mary Arden’s Farm.
15 minutes’ drive away is Stratford Racecourse one of the country’s leading small jumps racecourses.
Guests are spoilt for choice with the wealth of splendid National Trust properties and attractive gardens nearby: Upton House, Snowshill Manor and Lavender Garden, Hidcote Manor, Chedworth Roman Villa, Batsford Arboretum and Broadway Tower.
Some of the nation’s finest countryside, cosy traditional pubs and charming towns and villages are within easy reach.
Day trips to historic Warwick, the university city of Oxford and Bath Spa can be made from this lovely country home.
To the south are countless Cotswold villages and market towns waiting to be discovered including Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh, Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water.
A little further afield are the classic spa towns of Cheltenham and Leamington Spa, as well as medieval Warwick famed for iconic Warwick Castle, dating back to 1068.
Mainline rail services run to Honeybourne railway station from London Paddington which takes approximately 1¾ hours.
