Surrounding local area

Sheepscombe Byre is set within the heart of Snowshill, a secluded village awash with traditional pretty cottages. Perched on top of the Cotswold escarpment with heavenly views across the Cotswolds, this is the English countryside at its best.
As you approach Snowshill make sure you look out for the Cotswold Lavender Farm, stunning when in bloom. Also renowned for its Manor House and Gardens, this National Trust property is well worth a visit and just a short walk from Oat Hill Coach House.
The local friendly pub, The Snowshill Arms, is a short walk away and a perfect ending to a day sightseeing in this beautiful part of the world.
A walker’s paradise, you can set off from the door with a walk across to Stanton. Culture vultures can enjoy day trips to Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, historic Oxford and Bath Spa from this lovely country home.
Locally there are many public footpaths and close by is the Cotswold Way.
Nearby, picturesque Broadway offers a wide range of shops and restaurants.
Chipping Campden, Cheltenham and Stratford-upon-Avon, with its renowned Royal Shakespeare Theatre, are all within easy reach.
For the sporting enthusiasts, there are several golf courses nearby along with National Hunt Racing at Cheltenham, Polo at Cirencester Park and Cricket at Worcester.
