Chipping Campden Literature Festival in the beginning of May

The festival, held between 1st and 6th May has an All for Love theme this year and will be examining love as a driving force and exploring how humans experience passion for all kinds of things. The festival this year includes demonstrations, illustrated talks, a literary lunch and a big read to name but a few of the activities. It will also be exploring the lives and works of past writers as well as having a poetry writing day, music and theatre. With all the modern technology which is around us with tablets and kindles, this is a celebration to the beauty of books and paper as well as the printed word. It is also undeniably an opportunity to visit this beautiful historic wool merchants town and its elegant High Street lined with the typical honey-coloured limestone buildings which has plenty to offer visitors with plenty of pubs, restaurants, delicatessens and bakeries as well as antique shops.
